Join us to celebrate the Bengali New Year! Let’s come together for a fun and welcoming evening with friends and neighbors! 
It will be a potluck, so please bring a dish or snack to share if you can. Everyone is welcome!

In collaboration with Student Wellness Services, Grad students who live in An Clachan and John Orr Tower are invited to register for this workshop that covers nutrition basics, how to meal plan and create grocery lists. Grad students will also create an actionable grocery shopping plan and receive a $25 Food Basics gift card to purchase food.

Please join us for this month's German themed cooking class, led by our very own Community Coordinator, Veronika! She will step us through preparing a traditional German schnitzel and potato salad, just like her Oma makes it!

You are welcome no matter what level your culinary skills are! Space is limited so please register in advance Registration Link

In celebration of Earth Day we will be cleaning up our outdoor space here at An Clachan! Every little bit counts and we can do our part to help keep our planet clean and healthy! Afterwards we’ll take time to plant some seeds for your indoor or outdoor garden!

Welcome to the inaugural An Clachan Book Club! We invite individuals passionate about literature to join our bookworm community! Regular meetings, hosted in the Community Room at the end of the month, will celebrate diverse genres, including classics and contemporary works. Members will enjoy stimulating discussions and curated reading lists, enhancing their literary adventures. Our latest selection, "Wild Dark Shore" by Charlotte McConaghy, promises to spark engaging conversations.

This choice was also a Reese's Book club pick, and I have included a link to the overview Wild Dark Shore - Reese's Book Club

We know students are busy with studies and papers etc. so please feel free to join in any month that works with your schedule!

English Conversation Group runs on Fridays from 1:00pm-2:30pm in the An Clachan Community Room. This is a great opportunity to practice your listening skills, conversation skills, learn about Canadian and other cultures, increase your confidence, also great for IELTS/CELPIP.

Kid’s Time will be running bi-monthly in the evening at 6:30pm in the An Clachan Community Room. Children can participate in fun activities including crafts, games, movie nights etc. It’s also a great way for parents and children to meet and make friends with their neighbors. 😊 We look forward to seeing you there!
