Renowned for their rich tone, passionate intensity, and seamless interplay, the Pavel Haas Quartet is recognized as one of the world’s leading chamber ensembles. Winners of five Gramophone Awards, they perform in the most prestigious halls around the world and are celebrated for fearless, deeply expressive interpretations.
This program celebrates the music of Ludwig van Beethoven on the 200th anniversary of the composer’s death and features the String Quartets, Op. 95—the Serioso—the radiant Op. 153, and Op. 59, No. 1, the first of the three Razumovsky quartets. This performance is certain to showcase the Pavel Haas Quartet’s signature intensity and eloquence.
