I am a first year M.A. student researching Quebec during the American Revolution under the supervision of Dr. Jane Errington. I completed my undergraduate degree at Houghton University in History and Adolescent Education before joining Queen's. It was there that I further developed an interest in the francophone reaction to the American Revolution as I was exposed to the American perspective of the war. My research will focus on the people of Chambly during the American Revolution as a means of better understanding the francophone experience during these events. I am interested in the broader themes of French-Canadian nationalism and Canada-US relations.
