The Department of Political Studies is pleased to announce the recipients of this year’s Kim Richard Nossal Undergraduate Teaching Award.

Named in honour of distinguished scholar Kim Richard Nossal, the award recognizes exceptional undergraduate teaching within the department. It is especially intended to highlight instructors in the early stages of their teaching careers who have made outstanding contributions to the study of Political Studies through their work in the classroom.

For the 2025–2026 academic year, Kaitie Jourdeuil and Boyoon Lee have been named co-recipients, while Zainab Olaitan has received an honourable mention. Student nominations for all three were filled with inspiring praise, underscoring their meaningful impact on students’ learning experiences. The recipients were formally honoured at an awards ceremony held on April 9, 2026 in Robert Sutherland Hall.

Congratulations to this year’s recipients on their well-deserved recognition!
