The Department of Psychology and the Psychology Clinic at Queen’s University are pleased to announce that Dr. Beth Pollock, Ph.D., C.Psyc. is this year’s recipient of The Kevin Parker Practicum Supervisor Award.
The Queen’s Psychology Department Kevin Parker Practicum Supervisor Award recognizes excellence in mentoring, training, and guiding clinical psychology students during their supervised practice or practicum placements.
Dr. Beth Pollock is a longstanding member of the Queen’s Psychology community supervisor network and is a Clinical Neuropsychologist specializing in neurodevelopmental disorders, including Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has worked with the Regional Assessment Resource Centre since 2009, initially as a trainee and subsequently as a practitioner.
A huge thanks to the Association of Graduate Students in Psychology’s (AGSIP) Clinical Student Reps for their consideration in awarding this honour annually to a community-based clinical preceptor who provides structured supervision, training, and mentorship to students in a clinical setting.
