Percussionist Ji Su Jung and violinist Timothy Choo are celebrated for their virtuosity and expressive depth. Jung, the first percussionist to win the Avery Fisher Career Grant, is acclaimed for her lyrical, technically brilliant marimba performances, while Choo, a top competition laureate and professor at the University of Ottawa, captivates on the legendary 1714 “Dolphin” Stradivarius. Their program will include music by Robert Schumann, J.S. Bach, and Astor Piazzolla.
