Exciting achievements out of our Art Conservation alumni

Congratulations to Queen's Art Conservation alumni who attended the Canadian Association for Cultural Property's 28th Annual Conference in Victoria, B.C.! Presentations were given by Sally Kim (M.A.C. '19) on soft sculptures, and by Jonah Halili (M.A.C. '23) on the drying behaviours of modern oil paints. Additionally, Robin Canham (M.A.C. '22) received the CAC's Emerging Conservator Award.

Last week the Department held its Art History Three-Minute Thesis Competition, with guest judges Adrian Kelly (Office of Research Services) and James Fraser (Associate Dean, graduate, FAS). Congratulations to all speakers, particularly the top five:
