The Queen's Master of Industrial Relations (MIR) is a full-time graduate degree offered on campus. It takes one year (10-12 months) to complete. The MIR prepares students for a meaningful career in areas such as labour relations, human resources management, applied and policy-oriented research, or teaching and consulting in LR/HR.
The Professional Master of Industrial Relations (PMIR) is designed for busy professionals and managers in labour relations and human resources. The PMIR leads to the same degree as the full-time Master of Industrial Relations (MIR) but is delivered as a part-time program so you can continue working while taking the program.
