Biography
Dan Samosh joined the Employment Relations Studies unit at Queen’s University in July 2022. His research focuses on disability and work, including three main areas of study: 1) career advancement of persons with disabilities, 2) disability stigma and social identity, and 3) how to make work more accessible. Dan applies a multi-method approach in his research, using both qualitative and quantitative methods. His research is applied and theory-driven with practical implications for individuals, organizations, and policymakers. Dan’s teaching interests include career development, disability and diversity at work, organizational behaviour, HR analytics, research methods, and more.
Prior to joining the Employment Relations Studies unit, Dan was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Centre for Industrial Relations and Human Resources at the University of Toronto and the Institute for Work and Health. He completed his PhD in Organizational Behaviour at Queen’s University.
