U.S. politics expert available to speak about Supreme Court’s ruling against Trump’s tariffs

Queen’s University expert on American politics and policy David Haglund is available to speak on the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling against President Donald Trump’s sweeping use of tariffs.
In a 6-3 ruling Friday, the justices said that Trump had overstepped his authority when he invoked emergency presidential powers to impose the trade barriers against other countries.
Dr. Haglund can speak on the significance of the decision and its implications for the Trump administration, as well as world trade, and what it means for Canada.
