Science Rendezvous Kingston, led by the Queen’s University Vice-Principal Research Portfolio, is part of Canada’s largest single-day science festival through , a national initiative that brings together researchers, educators, students, and community organizations to celebrate science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and innovation.

This free, family-friendly event features hands-on activities, live demonstrations, interactive exhibits, and engaging stage shows that bring science and innovation to life. With something for all ages, Science Rendezvous Kingston offers an opportunity for our local community to explore, learn, and be inspired.

An award winning accessible event

At Science Rendezvous Kingston, we believe science is for everyone. Through initiatives like our sensory friendly science zone and bilingual volunteers, we work to ensure Science Rendezvous Kingston is welcoming, inclusive, and accessible for all. In 2025, the event received the City of Kingston’s (Community Organization) for its contributions to improving accessibility in the community.
